    Step 1 Step 2 Step Eat

    A couple of weeks ago LC got in his head that he really wanted a Crock Pot.  So for Xmas LC’s parents gave us one.  Today the boxes arrived from Seattle and LC got a crocking. 

    Day 1 - wine braised chicken with tomato and bacon on a bed of brown rice!

    Pumpkin cake… Yum! (Taken with Instagram at Recipe) LC and I had been wanting to try Recipe for a while. After a couple failed attempts, we finally had brunch there.   I had Poached Eggs with Bacon Apple Hash, Pumpkin, Maple Syrup, Paprika LC had Recipe Pulled Pork Sandwich with recipe slaw, gruyere, fines herbes, duck fat fried potato chips, pickles all very yummmmmy.  But what rocked my world was the Pumpkin Cake!!!

    I can’t stomach dairy so LC found me this great coconut milk ice cream. If I didn’t know what it was I would never guess it wasn’t the real deal. Go on… Give it a try! Did a little digging and found they have a BUNCH of non-dairy products. The fat girl inside is yelling to get out…. Hello Turtle Mountain.
