Yesterday my friend Margaret turned 30 and to celebrate the this milestone we had a ladies dinner at Palma in the West Village. At first look it’s like any other cute NYC restaurant…but walk out into the backyard and through a second door and you find this lovely kitchen with a wood burning fire place and the feel of being in your Italian grandmothers kitchen… well if you are italian. You can reserve it for large parties and if you can keep from drinking yourself silly it’s very reasonable. Prefix menu is $60.
Food was great and ambiance was even better.
Worth a visit.
